Poster and program design for Bearfoot’s transmedia production, Playing Face. I was able to read the script while it was still in conception stages, and wanted to base my aesthetic around its dark/absurd subversion of 50’s suburban romance tropes. I ended up drawing a lot of inspiration from Charles Burns’ fake romance comics in Last Look. Putting together the program based on these illustrations was a lot of fun, and I think I produced something people will really want to take home and keep.
